PARENT RESOURCES:

The Library has just received some new books on the subject of dealing with the many issues of parenting in this day and age.  Some of the new titles are:

Rage, Rebellion and Rudeness (Parenting teenagers in the New Millennium) by Dr. G. Scott Wooding

Welcome to Your Child's Brain by Sandra Aamodt, PH.D and Sam Wang, PH.D.

The Entitlement Trap (How to Rescue Your Child with a New Family System of Choosing, Earning, and Ownership) by Richard and Linda Eyre

Teens Gone Wired:  Are You Ready? by Lyndsay Green

10 Mindful Minutes by Goldie Hawn and Wendy Holden.

The above titles plus many more are available from our Parent Resources section.

LIBRARY DROP BOX:

We have been experiencing some problems with our drop box lately.  When you use the drop box, it will be checked the next day that the library is open in the morning only.  Therefore, if you are depositing books the day they are due and it is after the box has been checked, please be aware that your books will be one day late and subject to late fees.  It is also imperative that you push the books in as far as you can as they tend to get stuck and do not drop into the box.  I have been checking this and have rescued a few that would have missed the check in that day.  Thank you for your attention to these matters.
